Nicole Scherzinger’s Family on Her Stage Clothes: “Hate It”

Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer in the multi-awarded female pop group sensation The Pussycat Dolls, grew up in a family of strict Catholic beliefs, with an ultra-conservative mother and a priest for a grandfather. What do the devout family members have to say about her provocative and revealing stage outfits? Apparently, they are often shocked, and not in a good way.

The singer admitted that she still listens to her mother, and that her grandfather really is a priest. They do not seem to be thrilled with her outfits on the covers of magazines, and in music videos as well as other promotional materials. They did not express any positive excitement towards her fashion sense, and in her video for the song “Hush, Hush”, her mother was reportedly shocked because she (Scherzinger) lay in a bathtub, with her back nude, and with almost nothing on!

So the family isn’t too happy about her fashion choices and stage outfits, but what about her career in general? Nicole seems to be very satisfied about the support that her family has given her career. In fact, her priest grandfather even made his way up to concerts of the Pussycat Dolls back in the day when they were still active. He would even get his photos taken with the band. The girl group is on a hiatus.

She told the OK! Magazine, that her family has been extremely supportive of her career, and that they know her in and out. They believe she is grounded and are confident that she still knows her values and keeps her faith.
