Your designs seem universal…equally appropriate for many
age groups and flattering on a variety of
shapes and sizes. How do you
achieve that?
My style is a result of manipulating a basic pattern, keeping the
classic form and using the tools I know best, fabrics and graphic
elegance; mixing the present with notes from the past.
And why white?
White is a clean classic statement.
Tell us a little about your own personal style.
Style and good taste are an attitude, I follow classic lines with a
twist.

Can you tell us a little about when you first started
Sioloonim? What has been your biggest reward?
My biggest reward is the fact I did it.
Is there anything your anxious to wear for spring/summer
this year?
Anxious to wear, I am not. Anxious to see, I hope for more quality
fashion.
Are there other designers whose clothing you favor?
Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake.
Q&A With Minoo Hersini of Sioloonim

There's something perfect about a classic crisp white top.
Yet, as perfect as it may be, the quest for the perfect white top
seems nearly impossible. Of course, that was only true before
being introduced to the
Sioloonim
line. Their specialty? White shirts! And truly, no
one (or in this case pair) does it better than Minoo Hersini and
Lois Rosenthal. Classic white shirts are given a modern feel
"utilizing Minoo's passion for flowers and asymmetry for
inspiration." The result are designs that can easily be worn
more casually with denim or dressed up with a crisp pair of black
pants.
Below, 24-7 Style was fortunate enough to have Minoo answer a few
questions regarding
Sioloonim.
